How To Create The Perfect Airport Looks

Airports are busy, busy places. You’re often dashing from gate to gate with barely time to grab a coffee and find your departing flight. So how do you dress for such an unpredictable environment? We’ve put together some outfit ideas that will help you feel more comfortable and stylish at any airport ! Lets check out ”How To Create The Perfect Airport Looks”…

What do you wear at the airport?

A blazer and joggers

The key here is the pockets. You want your hands free, so opt for joggers that have built-in pockets. So keep it casual with an untucked blazer in a lightweight fabric. Rip a scarf over your blazer for an extra pop of color.

This is a classic look that should be in everyone’s travel arsenal! A blazer or jacket can make any outfit feel more put together, especially when it comes to flying long distances by plane.

A blazer is always a chic option when it comes time to board your flight. It’s totally acceptable (and encouraged) to take off your jacket while flying so layered with a hoodie underneath it just looks like jeans.

A blazer and joggers or romper with tons of accessories. If possible, try to give yourself some extra time before departure so you have enough space for several looks until you find the best one for you – I’ve never been a big fan of the feeling when we board and my luggage he’s still at the carousel. Better be prepared than sorry, right?! And last but not least, our bags after boarding!

A metallic jacket and jeans

A metallic jacket and dark jeans can also be very chic – another great combination that ensures you look stylish at any time of day even when catching a train or bus into the city from the airport. This way it doesn’t matter where people are from – they will definitely know who is doing well!

A metallic jacket and jeans, paper bag pants pair perfectly in this outfit option that can go from the plane to the business meeting seamlessly! When it comes to workwear in particular, coordination makes all the difference when done right – which is why I love paired pants with any blazer or jacket option.

Knitted sweater and matching trousers

Another option is to wear a knitted sweater and matching pants. Imagine how cute you’d feel in this dress when all eyes are on your airport style! Sure, it’s always an option if you’d rather go with something more casual like shorts and vans – but there’s no rule here as everyone has their own personal taste!

A knit sweater and matching trousers are both so comfortable, yet still stylish! This outfit can be very casual for a quick layover at an airport where you actually have some time to explore – this way you’ll definitely feel more relaxed knowing your outfit matches your schedule perfectly. Of course, it’s only possible to wear something like this on the plane if there are no further destinations planned after arrival – nothing wrong with that!

Crop top and Paperbag pants

If you like going for a jog or doing your workout at the gym then I recommend you to wear a cropped top and matching pants. Imagine how cute you’d feel in this dress when all eyes are on your airport style! Sure, it’s always an option if you’d rather go with something more casual like shorts and vans – but there’s no rule here as everyone has their own personal taste!

When it’s hot outside, keep your dress light so there’s plenty of airflow around your body! You can go with classic neutrals like black or white, but we love this look because it takes those colors out of their comfort zone by pairing them with paper bag pants. Slip-on sandals and pack a crossbody bag and sunglasses to complete this simple look. This will be one of our favorite outfits when traveling during the peak summer months.

Parka and Cargo Pants

A parka and cargo pants are a great combo for cold-weather airports, but it’s also perfect for the transition to fall. Consider wearing thick tights with this dress to keep you nice and warm when the temperature drops later in the day!

These babies are made for the airport. So easy to put on and so comfortable, especially if you want to travel with a big bag or suitcase – just wear your favorite trainers and that’s it! We’ve already talked about crop tops that are also a great option: choose skirts, shorts or high-waisted jeans , whatever makes you feel good!

I recommend wearing at least one pair of pants that are comfortable enough to walk in, but that you can also wear on the plane. Your jeans will go the distance, just make sure they aren’t ripped or faded!

A romper and tons of accessories

A romper is the best option for those who want to wear something comfortable that looks cute at the airport – especially if you plan on shopping or eating out somewhere before your flight. Just make sure it coordinates well together and has pockets (because we all know how annoying it can be when there’s nowhere to put your phone!).

For those who prefer suits over other types of dresses, wearing one with a pair of boots would be the perfect airport dress. Alternatively, wearing a romper is another great idea! The best part about rompers is that they’re super versatile and you can wear them to almost any occasion – just make sure it’s not too hot or you’ll end up sweating your clothes all day long.

Airport accessory

Another important thing in choosing airport clothes is to have some accessories on board, so let’s see what we have to say about it.

Earphones – a must! You can’t imagine how many times you need it. Seat belt extender: some people like it they don’t like it, but if you know how long your flight is and if it will make your life easier take one with yourself.

Sunglasses – Who doesn’t like traveling wearing sunglasses? The ultimate tip for an airport dress accessory is wet wipes or hand sanitizer (or both!) as these are perfect when traveling due to germs and other nasty things waiting for us on board especially during flu season.

Shoes – Flats are your best bet as you will likely be walking a bit, especially if there is a long layover. Sneakers are also a good option! They are comfortable and sturdy, but can be typical travel shoes, so if you want to look stylish and practical.

The Airport in Summer – What should I wear at the airport?

Summer is a great time to wear cute dresses and skirts, but if you’re heading straight from your flight to a meeting or important event, those dresses might not be appropriate. Just as it’s wise to pack extra layers when traveling in the winter, you’ll want to pack at least one outfit for summer travel too! Here are some stylish outfits ideas that will make getting to your destination easy.
